- Number 10: Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi which is demolished and converted to shahi idgah mosque and this temple is located in the holy city of mathura in state of uttar pradesh , it is said that temple was built by lord krishna’s grandson, vajra.
- historians believe that it is more than 5000 years old and temple was upgraded during the time of chandragupta ii, around 400 ad.
- First records of demolition was done on 1017ad and temple was again rebuilt by bir singh bundela and not to forget again one of the stupid mughal emperor aurangzeb destroyed in year 1670 by building shahi idgah mosque above temple ,
- Even today we can see the ancient prison cell where it is said that krishna was born on a dark, rainy night.
- Number 9: Rudra Mahalaya which was started constructing in 943 AD by mularaja solanki and was completed in 1140 ad by siddharaj in patan district of gujarat state ,
- As per the locals , muladev’s was haunted with his crimes heavily on his mind during his old age and to get rid of his bad deeds he built rudra mahalaya
- But it was destroyed by gay emporor allauddin khilji during 12th century and later ahmed shah demolished this temple by converting it into jami masjid
- Number 8 : Vijay Temple which was built by paramara kings in vidisha city of madhya pradesh state
- On site one of the pillars bears an inscription which suggests that the original temple was dedicated to vijaya which is goddess of victory
- It was 1658 when stupid emperor aurangzeb destroyed temple by converting into bijamandal mosque with same raw materials from the demolished temples.
- It is said that aurangzeb looted temple treasure and buried all the idols before building mosque and today place is used as a central prayer hall with large gatherings, especially during eid.
- Number 7 : Ram Janmabhoomi in ayodhya which is birth place of shri rama , This is one of the most controversial site in india and it is believed that barbaric emperor babur Built babri masjid by demolishing temple .

- After the sacrifices of hindu king raja mahakaldev and his soldiers in battle , gay emperor khilji killed 1200 hindu students and teachers in bhojshala just because of they refused for converting to islam.
- It was muslim fakir named kamal moulana entered malwa in 1269 ad and provided detailed information to khilji to destroy temples for period of 36 years
- Number 5 : bhadrakali temple built by rajput parmar kings in period of 9th to 14th century in city of ahmadabad, and it was in year 1424 ad where temple was destroyed and built jama masjid

- Number 4 : kashi vishwanath located in varanasi, which is one of the famous hindu temples dedicated to lord shiva , with 3500 years of documented history the temple town is said to be oldest living city in the world,
- The temple was first destroyed in 1194ad and rebuilt within 20 years and it was in 15th century temple was again destroyed in akbar period and rebuilt once again ,
- But akbar’s grandson and foolish emperor aurangzeb, destroyed it again in 1669 by building gyanvapi mosque in its place.
- Number 3 : Adinath temple located in pandua in state of west bengal , Historians believe that it originally a hindu temple of load shiva which was demolished and built adina mosque in 13th century
- Today the place is one of the biggest mosques in india and name adina itself came from word adinath and with carvings of ganesha and nataraja it can be proved the existence of temple
- Number 2 : Dhruv stambh/vishnu dhwaj which is today called qutub minar ,It was qutb-ud-din aibak half destroyed the temples and carved islamic design on tower ,

- Later in 1951 the temple was completely reconstructed in chalukya style architecture under the leadership of sardar vallabhbhai patel and temple trust
